Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems across the site, including HV and LV Electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including motors, drives, PLCs, and control systems.
  • Conduct LV/HV switching operations and ensure compliance with site electrical safety procedures in accordance with Australian standards
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using the site's CMMS.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and operational teams to achieve production targets safely.

About You:

  • Current Queensland Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain).
  • Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
  • Demonstrated LV and HV switching and maintenance experience
  • Previous experience in mining, heavy industry, or similar environments preferred
  • High regard for safety, risk management, and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems (Siemens/Allen Bradley) highly regarded.
