Job Title: Career Pathways Program Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Career Pathways Program Officer to support the day-to-day delivery of our program in the medical and nursing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and coordinating program activities while collaborating with the program team to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Delivery

 Deliver high-quality administrative and client service support to both internal and external stakeholders for all aspects of the Clinical Placement Program via phone and email enquiries. Escalate matters as required for advice and resolution.

 Provide comprehensive support, including drafting routine correspondence, responding to emails and phone calls, and following up on action items within the Clinical Placements Team to ensure smooth program operations.

 Accurately enter and maintain data within our placement software system, ensuring all documentation is complete and followed up with stakeholders on outstanding items.

 Monitor, update, and maintain stakeholder details, including managing supervisor and practice manager turnover information.

 Support the identification of operational issues and contribute to the review and improvement of processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Clinical Placement Program.

 Demonstrate initiative and sound judgement in delivering our program goals and organisational priorities.

 Provide professional, courteous, and efficient client service to all stakeholders.

 Adhere to APNA's policies, procedures, and occupational health and safety guidelines to ensure safe and compliant work practices.

 Manage routine tasks autonomously while seeking guidance from your team when needed.

 Information technology: proficient in use of and / or willing to become proficient in use of information technology and software including MS Office suite and willingness to learn new software.

Qualifications and Experience:

 Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a flexible, fast-paced work environment.

 Strong customer service focus, with experience in managing multiple stakeholder needs and priorities.

 Proven ability to use initiative and work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable:

 Previous experience supporting clinical placements or managing programs in healthcare education.

 Experience working with nursing, primary health, or other health professionals in an educational or service delivery context.

Essential IT competencies

 Strong digital literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and digital platforms.

 Familiarity with the InPlace Network platform or similar systems for managing clinical placements is highly desirable.
