Job Description

We are seeking multiple dedicated Trade Assistants to join our dynamic team for both workshop and on-site projects. Exceptional candidates may have the opportunity for ongoing employment. As a Trade Assistant, you will support the installation and modification of steel structures, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-site installation and modification of steel structures.
  • Support the installation of guarding systems to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Operate hand and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
  • Aid in lifting, positioning, and securing materials.
  • Perform basic welding and cutting tasks as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction or a related field (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of steel structures and installation processes.
  • Proficiency in safely using hand and power tools.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced tradespeople.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
