Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Site Supervisor / Project Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the installation of power distribution systems, lighting, switchgear, and low-voltage cabling
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. (depending on size 2-3 projects). High-rise experience required
  • Oversee electricians and subcontractors to ensure safety and efficiency on-site
  • Conduct site inductions, pre-start meetings, debriefs, and toolbox talks to keep all team members informed
  • Lead electrical installations for infrastructure projects
  • Supervise the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams
  • Work with suppliers to obtain the necessary materials and equipment
  • Track project progress, variations, and deliverables with full transparency.
  • Maintain detailed records of work progress and inspections
  • Ensure that all necessary permits are obtained and closed for daily tasks
  • Order and ensure day-to-day materials are available on-site
  • Complete daily timesheets
  • Plan daily activities
  • Maintain proactive and professional client communication to manage expectations
  • Ensure that the appropriate procurement procedures are followed
  • Possess a strong ability to read drawings and cross-reference various specifications
  • Identify and resolve project issues or risks swiftly to prevent delays or cost blowouts
  • Ensure job profitability, cost control, and timely completion.

The Successful Applicant Will Possess The Following Skills

  • QLD Electrical licence
  • QLD Construction White / Blue Card
  • Full Driver's Licence
  • Thorough knowledge of Australian Electrical standards and current regulations
  • Excellent attitude towards safety
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Ability to work with independence and within a team
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
