About the role

Jancode Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Concrete Labourer to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. As a Concrete Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespeople in the preparation, set up, and pouring of concrete for a variety of construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up equipment
  • Assisting in Steel fixing & Formwork
  • Pouring and smoothing concrete, using tools such as shovels, rakes, and vibrating equipment
  • Cutting, drilling, and finishing concrete surfaces as directed
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Concrete Labourer or in a similar construction role
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good physical fitness and stamina
  • Familiarity with concrete and pouring equipment
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail
