About the Opportunity

At Soul Pattinson Chemist in Wagga Wagga, NSW, you'll join a forward-thinking pharmacy team committed to developing confident, capable pharmacists.

Soul Pattinson Chemist is seeking a full-time Pharmacist based in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Reporting to the Pharmacist Manager, you'll be supported in delivering high-quality, patient-centred pharmacy services within a flexible team environment.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Dispensing medications and providing patient counselling
  • Administering vaccinations and supporting methadone/Buvidal treatment
  • Delivering skin, UTI, contraception, and sleep apnoea counselling
  • Supporting aged care and nursing home services
  • Using Fred and MedAdvisor systems (training provided)
  • Participating in CPD, mentoring and pharmacy service expansion
  • Working collaboratively within a multicultural team

This is more than just a dispensary role - you'll gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of pharmacy services, including vaccinations, methadone programs, aged care, and specialised counselling for sleep apnoea, skin health, UTIs, and more. All within a supportive environment that prioritises mentoring, collaboration, and continuous professional development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be a degree-qualified Pharmacists with general (unrestricted) AHPRA registration. We welcome applications from newly registered pharmacists, with structured mentoring and support offered from day one.

Additionally, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded:

  • Vaccination certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Interest in community pharmacy services, such as aged care or methadone programs
  • Familiarity with Fred or MedAdvisor (training provided)
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-first service

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position averaging 38 hours per week, with a flexible roster and rotating weekends.

Pharmacy operating hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm
  • Saturday: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
  • Sunday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Rosters are collaboratively managed to promote balance across the team.
