Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across their two largest regions NSW/ACT and QLD. This is a significant milestone for our business and our enduring 80+ year relationship with the Australian Defence Force.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Lead PAS service delivery at Holsworthy Barracks, ensuring alignment with Defence contracts and service definitions. .
• Manage maintenance and land programs, including preventative/corrective works and environmental compliance.
• Oversee TARM operations, ensuring range safety, stakeholder coordination, and access control.
• Ensure governance and quality, including subcontractor performance, audits, inspections, and Defence system record-keeping.
  Foster stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary contact, managing feedback, and leading on-base teams with a focus on collaboration and development. t.

What You'll Bring

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Facilities, or Project Management (mandatory); trade qualifications and White Card credentials are desirable.
• Defence Clearance & Experience: Must be an Australian citizen with eligibility for Defence Security Clearance; minimum 5 years in leadership roles within facilities or asset management.
• Proven delivery in estate upkeep, land management, and range operations within Defence or similar regulated sectors; familiarity with Defence systems like GEMS and frameworks such as MIC and PMF.
• Strong background in leading multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractor management, compliance governance, and contract oversight.
  Proficient in maintenance systems and data reporting; skilled in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, planning, and analytical problem-solving.
