The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and driven Contract Administrator to join our commercial contracts team. Based in our Melbourne Head Office, you will be integral to the successful delivery of projects by overseeing our multiple subcontract packages ranging from $50k to $2 million.

  • Support project teams with cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Uphold MD Group's commitment to quality, safety, and compliance across all projects
About You

You will be an organized, commercially astute professional who thrives in a fast-paced project environment. To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the commercial construction sector
  • Background in carpentry and fit-out projects, with strong knowledge of associated subcontractor packages
  • Sound understanding of contract law and project financials
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management systems
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Why Join MD Group?
  • Work on a wide variety of projects across Melbourne and Perth, with a strong pipeline in carpentry and fit-out
  • Supportive and professional team culture with clear opportunities for career development
  • Option to travel interstate for hands-on project involvement (if it suits your lifestyle)
  • Competitive salary package reflective of your skills and experience
  • Be part of a growing company with a reputation for quality and consistency
