Job Description

Epworth HealthCare provides integrated clinical pathways across the full continuum of care which includes acute, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation and community-based rehabilitation services.

An exciting and challenging opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and organised Grade 1 Physiotherapist join our incredible team at Epworth

This is a permanent full time position with an opportunity to participate in our rotational program. As part of the program, the successful candidate will be based across various locations in Melbourne including Richmond, Freemasons (East Melbourne) and Eastern (Box Hill) acute services as well as our rehabilitation sites based in Richmond, Hawthorn and Camberwell. At each site you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that provides strong support for all its staff.

You will make an impact by:

  • Providing evidence based best practice physiotherapy services to Epworth's patients
  • Working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Taking responsibility for allocated departmental portfolios
  • Contributing to quality improvement

About Rehabilitation & Mental Health

Epworth Rehabilitation and Mental Health services are some of the most progressive of their kind in Australia. Our clinical approach involves individualised treatment and collaborative team decision-making to achieve positive outcomes for patients. Our strong team ethos extends across our rehabilitation and mental health services at our Epworth hospitals in Richmond, Camberwell, Hawthorn and Geelong.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Council
  • Current physiotherapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
