About the role

Location - Yatala, QLD

Hours of work - Monday - Friday, 38 Hours a week

Hourly rate - $34.48 an hour at a casual rate

As a Delivery Driver (MR), you will be responsible for delivering materials and products to our customers to a vast delivery area, from Northen NSW, up to the north of Brisbane, you are only required to do day trips. This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner. You will be operating a medium rigid (MR) vehicle to transport goods to both residential and commercial worksites.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Safely operating a medium rigid (MR) vehicle to transport materials and products to customer locations
  • Loading and unloading materials (HIAB), ensuring goods are secured and undamaged.
  • Providing excellent customer service, including communicating with customers and resolving any delivery-related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including delivery run sheets and collecting delivery signatures.
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties

What we are looking for

  • A current medium rigid (MR) driver's licence.
  • Forklift licence is an advantage.
  • HR license is an advantage.
  • Experience in a delivery driver or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
  • The physical capability to load and unload vehicles.
  • The ability to ensure the safety for yourself and others.
