What's the role?

An exciting opportunity is available for a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to complement a world-class engineering team (Data Centre Networks) based in Sydney.

The role is: 

  • On a max-term contract basis until February 2027
  • Project focused and a brilliant opportunity to work on strategic network transformation programs. 
  • Hybrid working arrangement = 2 days office, 3 days remote. 

What do I need?

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are mandatory.
  • Strong ownership mindset and a great attitude.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching (BGP, OSPF, STP, NXOS (Nexus), N9K)
  • In-depth technical networking experience.
  • Prior work experience in large organizations supporting complex networks and network projects.

Highly Desirable:

  • Strong technical knowledge in VxLAN EVPN or related overlay technology.
  • Good understanding of Automation platforms (Python, PyATS, Jenkins, ROBOT Framework)
  • Good understanding of Orchestration platforms (NDFC - Nexus Dashboard/ DCNM - DC Network Manager) 
  • Vendor certification: CCNP or CCIE.
  • Good technical knowledge of Firewalls (Juniper high-end SRX, CheckPoint, Fortinet, NSX)
