Customer Service Team Leader

Faststud is a leading provider of high-quality construction materials and solutions.

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Customer Service Team Leader to join our growing organisation. As a Customer Service Team Leader, you will lead a dynamic team of customer service representatives, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for our valued clients. This is a full-time position based in our Smithfield, NSW office.

What you'll be doing

  • Effectively manage and motivate a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance, support and feedback to drive performance
  • Monitor and analyse team and individual performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and teamwork
  • Respond to complex customer inquiries and escalations, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of customer service policies, procedures and training programs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless customer service delivery
  • Directly participating in all customer service functions including but not limited to processing orders, quotes & credits as well as assisting with inventory management and logistical planning.

What we're looking for

  • Experience with or sound understanding of building & construction products / hardware.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex customer issues
  • Proficient in using customer service software and tools, with a keen eye for detail and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing customer service strategies and initiatives
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a passion for creating a positive customer experience
