Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair of fire systems in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Identify and address any issues or non-compliance discovered during inspections.
  • Accurately complete reports and documentation for all work undertaken.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Fire Technician or in a similar fire protection role.
  • Solid understanding of fire protection systems.
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards and applicable fire safety regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • Trade licence (highly regarded).
  • FPA Australia Accreditation.
