Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.

PUBLIC PROGRAMS OFFICER (Permanent Part Time 3 days per week)

The role of the Public Programs Officer is to attract new and retain existing audiences to the Griffith Regional Art Gallery, beyond traditional arts audiences through the development of public programs (workshops, artist talks etc.) and educational activities which complement the Gallery's annual exhibition calendar

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Working with Children Check Clearance Number, for employment screening purposes.

Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require current knowledge of contemporary arts practice, good customer service, and experience in events, projects, and/or program management.

Hours of work: 22.8 hours per week (3 days). Days of work: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
