Laboratory Assistant | Darlinghurst
The Company
Our client is a highly regarded Pathology provider with a strong national presence across Australia. With a central laboratory in Darlinghurst and 25 clinics across metro Sydney and regional NSW, they are seeking motivated Laboratory Assistants to join their busy specimen reception team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing of pathology specimens in the laboratory
  • Logging and entering samples into the system
  • Ensuring all sample details are accurate
  • Clerical duties and strong IT competency
  • Excellent typing speed essential
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High-level communication skills with colleagues and patients
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Commitment to Work Health and Safety protocols

About You

  • Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques desirable
  • Eligible to work in Australia (sponsorship not available)
  • Current Police Check
  • Clear communicator with a positive and professional attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts
  • Previous laboratory experience highly regarded
  • Genuine interest in the Pathology industry
