- Remuneration: From $100k + Super + 15,900 and $2,650 for meals & entertainment plus attractive relocation allowance of up to $5,000 for candidates relocating to Mackay (reimbursements upon receipts once employed)

Your part in our UnitingCare team
We are currently seeking to appoint a Financial Counsellor to join our UnitingCare Financial Resilience and Wellbeing Services team based in Mackay.
This position is full-time, on a maximum fixed term contract ending 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension dependent upon funding. Whilst this position is full-time, part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in providing Financial Counselling and support to individuals and their families who are experiencing financial anxiety and stress. We are seeking someone with fantastic communication skills who can work autonomously and remain motivated and driven to provide community education and information with a focus on empowerment and resilience to your community.
You will be proactive in engaging with other services as well as hard to engage individuals, to ensure maximum reach of our service within the community. In addition to the above you will also be required to have

- Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling)
- Problem Gambling Skill Set CHCSS00111
- Membership of eligibility for membership with Financial Counsellors' Association of Queensland (FCAQ).
- Current drivers' license.
