We are looking for
chronically online
university students eager to gain experience in social media and podcasting.

WHO ARE WE?
Founded in 2019, Centennial World is a leading digital media startup reaching millions of young people every month. Centennial World reports on what's trending and viral across the digital landscape, publishing original content on our podcast, TikTok, and newsletter.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Part-time internship: 2 days a week in-person at our Chippendale office starting in January.

The Experience You Can Expect

  • Help edit short clips for TikTok to promote our podcasts.
  • Contribute to social media strategies across podcast and founder TikTok accounts.
  • Weekly editorial ideation & assistance in execution for our podcast and founder TikTok accounts.
  • Assist with community management and comment monitoring.
  • Support with trend research and other administrative tasks.

Please note: You will never be required to feature in social media content.

This is a chance to work with a growing podcast network and gain hands-on experience in a part of the media industry that's expanding quickly

WHO ARE YOU?
We're Looking For University Students Who Are

  • Obsessed with all things internet culture—whether it's YouTube, TikTok or Reddit, you know the digital landscape inside out.
  • Interested in a career in digital media, podcasting, or social media.
  • Studying social sciences, social media, communications, journalism, arts, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in video editing in TikTok, Adobe Rush, and CapCut is beneficial but not necessary.
  • Creative and able to contribute fresh ideas for social media.
  • Must be available to work from our Chippendale office.
