About the Role
As an experienced Residential Care Youth Worker, you will support young people who are facing complex life situations. You will provide them with a safe, stable, and nurturing environment, helping them develop the skills and resilience needed to lead healthy and productive lives.

- Competitive hour rates: Qualified Casual Base Rate $48.50, Afternoon Shift $53.15, Night Shift $54.08, Saturday Shift $67.13, Sunday shift $85.76
- Full time and Part time Positions available; Base Rate $39.18, Afternoon shift 43.92, Night Shift $44.77, Saturday $57.81, Sunday $76.44
- Sleep over allowance $60.02
- On call team for afterhours support.
- No use of personal vehicle on shift

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the young people in your care feel safe, supported, and valued
- Foster positive relationships with young people, their families, and the community
- Assist in the development of social, emotional, and life skills
- Support young people in making healthy choices and accessing appropriate healthcare
- Work collaboratively with a therapeutic care team to implement tailored care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and structured home environment
- Manage daily tasks, including written and verbal reports, case notes, and documentation as required
Mandatory Requirements:
- Relevant experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field
- Current Open Australian Driver's Licence
- Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent (or actively working towards, with the commitment to complete within 12 months of your employment start date)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them
- Availability for shift work including weekdays, weekends, and sleepovers as rostered
- Current Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
- Current Hope and Healing (or willingness to obtain it)
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain it)

You will be an experienced professional, committed to making a positive impact through therapeutic care and support. You should be adaptable, patient, and ready to take on challenges as you guide young people toward better futures.
