Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated Territory Sales Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Kalgoorlie/Port Hedland, Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Promote Victaulic products to the mining, power generation and industrial sectors.
  • Maintain contact with contractors and distribution channels.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the territory's strategic marketing plan, aligning with overall company objectives and incorporating market analysis, competitor assessment, and customer segmentation.
  • Liaise with other Territory Managers to ensure projects/specifications are communicated, followed through and capitalized on.
  • Achieve revenue budget.
  • Follow up on project quotations.
  • Develop and achieve specifications and their conversion within the assigned territory.
  • Control expenditure within budget.
  • Develop and maintain favorable specification of Victaulic range and services.
  • Develop sales activity through familiarity with contractors/project managers/designers/specifiers/buyers.
  • Advise or assist target customers on selection, service, profit opportunities and quality.
  • Investigate and correct problem situations.
  • Translate budget goals into concrete plans and responsibilities.
  • Maximize opportunities through planning, scheduling and managing territory coverage.
  • Assist in training specifier, distributor and contractor staff.
  • Investigate, evaluate and resolve complaints.
  • Keep management informed on market conditions, competitive situations, product needs, etc., and consult on policy and pricing.
  • Utilize and maintain the Victaulic CRM system to track marketing activities, analyze campaign performance, and manage customer data to improve targeting and marketing effectiveness. Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to enhance online presence and lead generation.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the marketing budget for the territory, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI on marketing activities, in conjunction with overall revenue and expenditure budgets and sales forecasts.
  • Manage and enhance the Victaulic brand within the assigned territory, ensuring consistent messaging and brand guidelines are followed across all customer interactions and promotional materials.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including advertising, trade shows, digital marketing, and content creation, to generate leads and support sales efforts.

About You

To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field and 2 years of relevant work experience within the mining or ECPM market
