About the Role
We are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior Scientist to join their dynamic and supportive team within a state-of-the-art hospital in a thriving regional community in East Gippsland of Victoria. As a scientist, you will play a key role in the lab team, contributing your expertise in haematology and transfusion. The role also includes exposure to morphology and biochemistry, with training available for any additional areas as required.
This position is ideal for someone open part-time work, with the addition of having other shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, including some weekends and on-call responsibilities once trained.
About You
- Proven experience in haematology and transfusion (essential).
- Prior experience in morphology and biochemistry would be an advantage.
- A commitment to maintaining high laboratory standards and accuracy.
- A willingness to work some weekends and on-call shifts after training.
- Someone is open to relocating (if necessary) and living near the hospital for convenient commuting.
