Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Recovery Engineer, based in Brisbane, QLD. The Data Recovery Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing and recovering lost, corrupted, or inaccessible data from various types of media. Responsibilities include performing data analysis, utilizing data recovery tools, implementing data models, creating data reports, and maintaining data security protocols. The role also involves collaborating with the team to develop and refine data recovery techniques while ensuring customer satisfaction through clear and transparent communication about the recovery process.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and data architecture design
  • Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing
  • Competence in Data Analytics for interpreting data patterns and troubleshooting issues
  • Proficiency with data recovery tools and techniques
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and security
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience in digital forensics or IT support is a plus
