The Role

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and oversight of day-to-day operations of Specific Solutions. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that day-to-day, project and client requirements are met through the efficient deployment and management of personnel, equipment, and resources.

As our Operations Manager, you'll take the lead in:

  • Overseeing daily business operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Supporting and mentoring site supervisors and office staff.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their operational needs are met.
  • Driving continuous improvement in performance, systems, and safety culture.
  • Managing budgets, projects, workforce deployment, and reporting to Directors.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day coordination will make a real difference.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven experience in operations management (mining/resources/contracting preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and support teams.
  • Solid understanding of WHS, compliance, and operational logistics.
  • Financial and project management experience.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Business, Operations, or a related field are highly regarded, as well as mining industry experience.
  • G1, G2, G8 & G9 - highly advantageous
