**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) Maintainer/Operator for our Wambo mine complex. Our Wambo mine complex is a combined open-cut and underground mine located 30 kilometres west of Singleton. It produces both metallurgical and thermal coal for export markets.

Reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, you will be required to carry out electrical repairs and maintenance as well as operate mobile equipment including dozers to maximise plant availability of the Coal Preparation Plant.

**Duties will include**:

- Identify, report and act on all hazards and comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Management System
- Perform first response breakdown maintenance tasks as required
- Maintain CHPP equipment as requested during scheduled maintenance and shutdown periods
- Operations of the Process Plant, Stockpile Dozer and Train Load Out

**The lifestyle**:
Wambo CHPP operates a 5/2 weekday roster as well as a 24/7 roster. This position is offered on a 24/7 4 panel rotating roster which allows for a residential lifestyle.

**About you**:

- Experience working on a Coal Handling Preparation Plant - Preferred (not essential)
- Product stockpile dozer experience - Preferred (not essential)
- High level of attention to detail
- Good teamwork in a small team environment
