About the Role

As a Business Governance and Controls Specialist in our team, you'll play a key role in establishing and maintaining Enterprise Finance governance processes over investment slate and BAU change initiatives. You will support the design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Finance risk and compliance communications and training program. You will also support Risk Theme Officer activities such as working with Accounting Policy in horizon scanning, determine impacts to obligations and control objectives. You will also work closely the EF Well Managed team and provide challenge and support the Group NFR Transformation program, together with the NFR Advisory and Reporting team.

What will your day look like?

As a Business Governance and Controls Specialist, you will:

  • Establish and maintain Enterprise Finance governance processes over investment slate and BAU change initiatives
  • Work with the RTO support team and the NFR Advisory and Reporting team in ensuring that FAR accountability is well managed
  • Support Enterprise Finance Risk Culture assessments related matters
  • Work with the Well Managed team and provide challenge and support the Group NFR Transformation program, together with the NFR Advisory and Reporting team
  • Mentor offshore staff members, and work collaboratively with team members

  • Critically assess the key risks in change to the non-financial risk profile.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence & negotiate change
  • Able to manage work priorities and conflicting issues in a professional & risk-based manner
  • Commercial with sound business acumen and judgement
  • Flexible, reflective and adaptable working style (able to work autonomously in ambiguous, fast paced and cross-functional team environments)
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management
