Be Bold. Belong. Be More.
At Southern Cross University, we do things differently, and so can you.

Our game changing Southern Cross Model brings a deeper, focused learning experience and our research is deeply connected to our regions, making a difference on a global scale. This is your chance to help us build something new and meaningful for our students, our communities and your career. To drive change, make a real impact, and thrive in a place as unique as you.
You can be good anywhere. Here, you can be great.
Your opportunity
The Digital Producer and Designer will play a key role in shaping Southern Cross University's visual identity across digital and print platforms. From concept to delivery, this role leads the creation of compelling designs and content for marketing campaigns, student communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with the Design Lead and collaborating with content, marketing and design colleagues, the Designer ensures brand consistency and creative excellence across all channels - from social media and websites to HTML, video, out-of-home and print. This position offers the chance to refine your creative and technical skills, while delivering high-impact visual solutions.
You will make an impact by:
- Design and deliver creative concepts and artwork across digital and print channels, including social media, web, HTML, video, animation, and motion graphics.
 - Manage the full design lifecycle – from briefing to delivery – ensuring work meets objectives, deadlines, and brand standards.
 - Collaborate with the Design Lead and cross-functional teams to produce cohesive, high-quality visual communications, with attention to detail and brand consistency.
 - Develop agile, audience-focused design solutions that support evolving needs and key digital platforms, like web CMS and digital asset management systems.

What you will bring
You're a creative digital professional with a passion for creating and optimising engaging and high-impact digital experiences.
To succeed in this role, you will also need:
- A relevant degree and at least three years' experience in a digital design or digital media role, or equivalent.
 - Demonstrated ability to take digital projects from concept to delivery, aligned with style guides where appropriate.
 - Excellent written communication skills, with a track record of delivering effective content with high levels of attention to detail, and strong English language, grammar and punctuation skills.
 - Skills or experience across systems and programs such as Google Analytics, Powerpoint, full Adobe suite, CMS systems, CSS, CRM and Javascript. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics, Terminal 4 CMS, Midjourney, motion graphics and/or animation is advantageous.
