About Us

We're Brenton Builds Pty Ltd, a residential building company specialising in high-quality custom renovations and new homes. Booked out well into 2026, we're focused on doing things right—from construction quality to team culture. We're growing and now looking for a Lead Carpenter to join our team of motivated professionals.

What We Need From You

You'll be leading the hands-on execution of projects while communicating with clients and our team to ensure each job is delivered to the Brenton Builds standard.

You MUST Have:

• Cert III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
• Positive attitude and alignment with Brenton Builds' values
• High-quality workmanship and pride in your trade

You SHOULD Have:

• Broad range of construction skills across residential builds
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, quality and safety

You COULD Have:

• Excellent time management and site coordination skills
• A growth mindset and desire to upskill
• Interest in developing into a Project Manager role

You WON'T:

• Have a poor attitude or lack of experience
• Tolerate unsafe or untidy sites
• Disrespect the team culture or underdeliver on expectations

The Role Includes...

• Hands-on carpentry and construction leadership
• Managing site activities and maintaining build quality
• Communicating with clients and providing regular updates
• Coordinating trades and subcontractors
• Reporting back to the director on project progress
• Ensuring safe, clean and organised sites at all times
• Producing excellent work that meets architectural specs
