The Opportunity 
 
At The APP Group, we're expanding our project delivery team across New South Wales and are seeking experienced Project Engineers for upcoming Transport project in Regional NSW.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of NSW's infrastructure by ensuring high quality outcomes across major civil, bridge, and road works. We're particularly focused on building our presence in regional hubs such as Wagga Wagga and Albury, where a strong pipeline of Transport projects is underway.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet quality standards. 
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Review designs, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements. 
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate communication, address issues, and ensure project milestones are met. 
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address any issues or deviations from the plan. 
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management. 
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct inspections and reviews as necessary. 

About You 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Construction Management  
  • Proven experience in project engineering or a related role. 
  • Previous experience on Transport for NSW or local government projects in New South Wales, particularly in civil, bridge, and road infrastructure is highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry standards. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
