Consultant/Senior Consultant – Asset Management & Project Delivery

We're looking for a technically capable, people-centric Consultant / Senior Consultant – Asset Management & Project Delivery to join our growing team at Methuen Consulting.

With 1–3 years' experience (Consultant) or deeper experience at Senior Consultant level and a relevant degree, you'll bring technical rigour and a calm, collaborative style to help deliver better outcomes for councils, infrastructure organisations and the communities they serve. Day to day, you'll contribute across asset management, project management, strategy and organisational impact.

What you'll work on

• Consulting projects for asset-intensive organisations

• Scoping, analysis and delivery support on projects

• Facilitating workshops that create clarity, alignment and momentum

• Translating data into insights leaders can act on

• Drafting strategies, frameworks, plans and practical reports

• Project planning, scheduling and risk tracking

• Contributing to proposals and new opportunities over time

• Supporting and mentoring Cadets as part of a capability-building culture

How you'll work

This role is home-based, with regular travel to client sites across metro and regional South Australia as required. You'll work closely with your team and client stakeholders to support confident decisions through clear communication and quality outcomes that build client capability, not dependence.

What we're looking for

Experience and qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (engineering, asset management, business, project management, or similar)

• 1–3 years' experience in consulting, infrastructure, asset management, engineering, or project delivery (more for Senior Consultant)

• Exposure to ISO 55000/55001, IIMM, NAMS+, PMBOK or PRINCE2 (valued)
