Position Description
As a
Contract Lawyer
in the Insolvency & Restructuring team, you will play a pivotal role in high-impact matters. Working closely with a Chambers-ranked Partner and a collaborative team of 10, you will tackle complex insolvency, restructuring, and turnaround projects, providing strategic legal advice and driving successful outcomes. This role offers a unique opportunity to build your expertise in a dynamic, supportive environment with flexible hybrid work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents for insolvency and restructuring matters
- Advising on corporate insolvency, turnaround strategies, and related litigation
- Supporting complex, high-value transactions and restructures
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored legal solutions
- Conducting legal research and maintaining up-to-date precedent resources
- Representing the firm in client meetings and with external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will have:
- 5 + years of experience in an insolvency, restructuring, or commercial litigation team
- Strong drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension or permanency, offering a competitive salary and exposure to high-profile matters.
