Purchasing Officer

About the role

Pacific Turbine Brisbane (A PAG Company) is seeking a full-time Purchasing Officer to join our team in Pinkenba, Brisbane. In this on-site position, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and services to support our manufacturing operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital part in the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the procurement of required inventory lines at levels that support ongoing stock requirements
• Conduct ongoing communication with suppliers and vendors to provide updated back-order information for outstanding order requirements
• Perform ongoing reviews of procurement channels to ensure best choice supplier and pricing decisions are being undertaken
• Review inventory levels on stock items to ensure sufficient levels are on-site to meet requirements
• Adhoc purchase requests – chemicals, paint, gloves, etc
• Assist the Production & Planning Manager with quoting external customer requirements, and carrying out planning for workshop workflow
• Provide support with the induction and required dispersion of unserviceable units to internal or external repair venues
• Oversee the control of onsite inventory at PAG Australia
• Update planning info in the ERP system / external tracking system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
