Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and driving real change on construction sites? We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Advisor to work closely with one of our key clients on major construction projects.

This role is ideal for a hands-on safety professional with a strong construction background who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders and influencing positive safety outcomes. You will play a critical role in maintaining high Work Health & Safety standards across site operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Strong construction background with demonstrated experience in formwork design and construction

  • Manage and administer the client's HammerTech system, including:

  • Subcontractor onboarding and inductions

  • Permits to Work (PTW)
  • SWMS
  • Plant and equipment registers
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company policies
  • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and external stakeholders to address safety issues and promote best practice
  • Act as the primary WHS point of contact for external parties and regulators
  • Develop and deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training
  • Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and industry best practice
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry in a WHS/HSE role
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (Diploma or higher qualification highly regarded)
  • Proven experience working with subcontractors and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with WorkSafe or other regulatory authorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
  • A genuine commitment to building a positive safety culture and continuous improvement
