Our focus is on delivering personalised service, expert guidance and lasting results for both residential and commercial clients.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to lead the daily operations of our showroom, manage sales and customer relationships, and drive business growth. The successful candidate will lead showroom operations, coordinate contractors and suppliers, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure a high-quality customer experience from sale to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day retail operations including staffing, rostering, and sales supervision.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and set competitive prices to achieve growth targets and drive profitability .
- Lead, coach and motivate the retail team to deliver high standards of customer service.
- Oversee product presentation, inventory levels, and supplier orders to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring the store is always well-presented by maintaining visual standards and organizing displays
- Prepare client quotations and oversee project scheduling for installations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors , designers, and customers to deliver flooring projects on time and to specification.
- Monitor store budgets, pricing, and profitability to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS regulations and quality standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in in business, retail management, or related field
- At least one year of full-time relevant experience in a retail or management role
- Demonstrated ability to manage retail operations, staff supervision, and customer relations.
- Proven experience in sales, stock control, budgeting, and supplier coordination.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive the team
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
