The Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and analyse Australia's energy retail and distributed energy markets, policy changes, and competitor trends.
  • Support execution of strategic initiatives across retail and finance portfolios, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Monitor product profitability, hedging performance, and risk exposure; identify key drivers of variation.
  • Coordinate with lenders, advisors, and internal teams on financing, compliance, and risk management activities.
  • Manage project-level costs, schedules, and milestones; report progress to executives and HQ.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc business reports, investor updates, and operational reviews.
  • Provide analytical support for business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
About You
  • 7+ years' experience in corporate planning, banking, or financial advisory, ideally within energy, fintech, or consumer finance.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, or Finance MBA or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Korean, with proven cross-border stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, including P&L, cash flow, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Familiarity with credit policy, collections, or securitisation frameworks.
  • Understanding of renewable energy products (solar, battery, tariffs, VPPs) or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools; detail-oriented and execution-focused.
Why Join Us
  • Work with a globally recognised energy innovator at the forefront of Australia's renewable transition.
  • Exposure to high-growth projects spanning retail, distributed energy, and sustainable finance.
  • Collaborative culture with international exposure and diverse, high-performing teams.
  • Competitive remuneration and career development opportunities within a growing organisation.
