About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Store Supervisor to join our team at Nigel in Glen Iris, VIC. As a full-time Store Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our store, overseeing the day-to-day activities and leading a team of dedicated staff.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the work of store staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
  2. Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, placing orders as needed, and ensuring stock is properly organised and maintained
  3. Handling cash management, processing transactions, and reconciling daily sales
  4. Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  5. Assisting with the training and development of store staff, including providing coaching and feedback
  6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
  7. Collaborating with the management team to identify and implement process improvements

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality or retail industry
  2. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a positive customer experience
  3. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  4. Proficient in cash handling and inventory management
  5. Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  6. Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
