Boilermaker / Welder – Marine Maintenance & Repairs

Are you an experienced Boilermaker / Welder looking for your next opportunity?

We are seeking skilled and motivated tradespeople to join our clients growing team in Sydney, working on maintenance and repairs of marine vessels for a range of clients in the defence and commercial shipping industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding and fabrication on marine vessels and associated structures
• Work across a variety of welding procedures and techniques with confidence
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication
• Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Operate and maintain workshop equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with the wider fabrication team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Boilermaker / Welder role
• Trade qualified Boilermaker (or equivalent recognised qualification)
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and PPE requirements in an industrial environment
• Able to commit to 40+ hours per week with a strong work ethic
• Confident interpreting drawings and working with hand and power tools
• Construction White Card – Required
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport – Required
• Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift or Fire Sentry tickets – Highly Regarded
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Defence Clearance – Required
