Polywelder/Operators

About the role

Polyfuse is seeking an experienced Polywelder/Operator to join our dynamic team in Crooked Brook, Western Australia. As a Polywelder/Operator, you will play a key role in the construction industry, operating specialised machinery and equipment to weld and fuse a variety of PE Pipes and associated Civil Works. This full-time position offers exciting opportunities to contribute to major projects and develop your skills within a supportive, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate and maintain a range of polywelder and fusion equipment to join PE materials in construction applications
• Prepare work areas and materials to ensure efficient and accurate welding and fusion processes
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and work orders to carry out tasks to the required standards
• Perform quality checks on completed work and identify any issues or defects
• Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment
• Work collaboratively with the construction team to meet project deadlines and objectives
• Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Polywelder/Operator or similar role in the construction industry
• Minimum of less than 1 year experience as a Polywelder/Operator is required
• Strong technical skills in the operation and maintenance of polywelder and fusion equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work orders
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Relevant industry certifications or qualifications
• must have White card
• must have a Manual Drivers Licences
• Valid work visa accepted for this position
