About the role

The Western Health Urology unit is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Locum Consultant to join our team in providing evidence based best practice to patients of the west. The role will include covering theatre lists, outpatient clinics and On Call

The successful applicant(s) will join an established team of 13 Consultants, accredited and unaccredited Registrars and Residents who as a team, provide Secondary and Tertiary services to one of the fastest growing regions in Australia – a region with a projected growth of 33% in population over the next 15 years.

The unit provides a 24-hour service with a registrar and a consultant on-call. It is important that you have a flexible approach to team work particularly with respect to Elective and Emergency work.

The unit is supported by 2 Clinical Nurse Consultants and a Surgical Nurse Liaison who coordinate and oversee the management of the units elective booking lists.
