• Permanent Full Time position, working over a 7 day roster

Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Security Consultant / Team Leader to join the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN).

In this dual role, you will provide both strategic consultancy and team leadership to ensure the effective delivery of security services across the network. You'll oversee and support Hospital Security Officers, provide expert advice on risk management and safety, and contribute to the development and implementation of security systems, policies, and procedures that align with SA Health standards.

This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

About You

You will bring:

• Proven leadership experience in security operations or consultancy
• Strong understanding of risk management, safety systems, and security compliance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead, train, and develop a diverse team
• Current South Australian Security Agent Licence
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the network

Key Requirements:

• Participation in an on-call roster is required
• Travel throughout the Yorke and Northern region is an essential part of this role
• The position combines both Team Leader and Consultancy responsibilities
