About our role:
Northern Star has a new & exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join us at our world-class Thunderbox operations. This position is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off permanent roster, with FIFO ex Perth. The Maintenance Planner reports to the Maintenance Superintendent, and the primary role is to develop, implement and maintain maintenance strategies in Pronto for Maintenance teams in a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all work practices/procedures meet statutory, company OHS&E and company operational standards within the Maintenance Department.

- Working as part of the maintenance team, providing an effective and responsive maintenance function to the production section.
- Develop, implement and execute timely shutdown plans for the Processing Plant.
- Keeping effective record keeping for maintenance schedules.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives & manage all activities so that they are carried out in a cost-effective manner.
- Contribute to the planning process that enables production and processing optimisation and demonstrate support for management.
To thrive in this role, you'll need...
- Experience: 2 years' experience in a similar role; previous use of Pronto or similar CMMS, knowledge of fixed plant equipment, maintenance principles and their application in practice.
- Qualifications: Electrical/Mechanical Trade Qualification (desirable); frontline management or equivalent (desirable); current Australian Driver's Licence
