HOUSE KEEPERS WANTED - CBD LOCATION (near Central Station)

We have an opportunity for full time and casual housekeepers to join our team. Day shifts available.

Our hostel has up to 480 international and domestic guests staying with a high occupancy most of the year.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the following daily duties include but are not limited to;

• Cleaning guests private rooms after check out in preparation for next guests. (Linen change, clean etc)
• Checking dorms to ensure check out beds are clean and the room is tidy and welcoming for our next arriving guests.
• Ensuring all common areas – bathrooms /kitchen/lobby are clean and welcoming at all times.
• Ability to work unsupervised if needed
• Need to be physically fit for the role as it involves lifting and carrying.
• Clean bathrooms
• Make beds
• Clean corridors
• Assist with linen and supplies deliveries when necessary

Must be available to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.

We require someone that has housekeeping experience (not at private homes), as we will need to complete 3 business reference checks with previous employers.

Good English is a must as you will have to communicate via radios due to the size of the building.
