JASDA Physiotherapy is a leading provider of aged care physiotherapy services across NSW. Due to increased workload, we are currently seeking multiple full-time Physiotherapists to provide pain & mobility physio services to aged care residents throughout the New South Wales. In particular, we require multiple staff primarily in Mayfield, Newcastle. We require applicants to have at least 2 years of experience. Salary $70,000 -$80,000 + super depending on experience.

Note: several Part time/Casual & Locum work also available across NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

· Pain management by exercise, massage & therapies, application of heat & cold and radiation therapies as required

· Treatments to improve joint mobility, reduce paid, blood circulation, muscle strengthening, better functionality, and general mobility and functionality

· Document the treatment and follow up process

· Conduct a thorough clinical assessment for each resident as per facility requirements

· Develop individually tailored assessment and care plans, selecting and executing appropriate physiotherapy treatment

· Consult with the appropriate staff, carers, medical practitioners and family members in the best interests of the residents

· Review all residents, at a minimum interval of three months or as per individual facility requirements

· Educate, Mentor, Supervise, train Junior colleagues

· Provide strength, prevention & Balance training

Prerequisites:

· AHPRA Registration to work as a Physiotherapist (JASDA to assist)

· Minimum 2 years of full-time experience

· Positive can-do attitude

· Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

· Passionate about aged care with proven experience (preferred)

· Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential
