About the role
In this pivotal role, you will provide expert advice to senior leaders, lead WHS initiatives, and drive a proactive safety culture. You'll manage risk assessments, lead investigations, and oversee WHS projects that align with legislative requirements and industry best practices—ensuring our people and programs thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
As a strategic thinker and collaborative leader, you'll work across multiple sites and teams to embed high-performance WHS practices. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly, manage projects effectively, and lead with integrity will be key to your success. If you're ready to influence positive change, coach others, and deliver results that matter, we'd love to hear from you.
About you
You will have:
- Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve shared goals.
- Solid time management and organizational skills to prioritise risk management and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Proven research, analytical skills and use of technology to support project planning and informed decision making.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in managing positive stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, prioritisation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS, risk and compliance and/or demonstrated extensive experience in relevant field.
- A current and valid NSW drivers full license.
- Ability to travel to and work from all Office of Sport sites.
- Working with Children Check.
