We are partnering with a leading global investment bank to appoint a Vice President to join its Natural Resources & Critical Minerals M&A Advisory team in Sydney. The firm is seeking an Vice President with ~6–10 years of strong M&A transaction experience, ideally from a global platform or high-quality boutique. Given the time of year, this role will commence in early 2025.

The team is recognised for its depth of sector expertise and its ability to deliver complex, high-profile transactions in dynamic environments.

Based in Sydney, you will work closely with clients across Australia, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, supporting the origination and execution of strategic M&A mandates. The role blends client coverage with hands-on execution, collaborating with global sector, M&A and project finance teams to deliver high-impact outcomes. The group is well regarded for its strong team culture, outstanding leadership, and commitment to long-term development.

We are seeking candidates with:

  • 6–10 years of front-end M&A experience from a global investment bank or reputable boutique advisor
  • A strong track record executing complex M&A transactions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
  • An interest or existing background in natural resources, though broader sector experience will be considered
