We are currently seeking a store person Fork lift Driver

The Store person / Forklift Driver is responsible in ensuring the smooth daily operations out of the Stores and into the factory whilst also maintaining a clean, safe and orderly warehouse/factory.

Tasks & responsibilities

Store people you will be responsible for:

  • Keeping all materials and items organised and in correct and safe locations
  • Receiving goods from suppliers
  • Filling in paperwork required for incoming and outgoing goods
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse
  • Monthly stock take as required
  • Ensuring stock order sheets are filled in for bulk items when getting below minimum quantity (eg. Cleaning chemicals, gas struts, handles, screws etc.)
  • Preparing and picking items per van on production line based on requirements
  • Manual handling
  • Moving caravans along the line with the forklift
  • Partnering with Purchasing Department to ensure smooth replenishment of stock

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have a current forklift licence
  • MUST have Forklift driving experience - you need to hit the ground running
  • Physically fit for manual handling
  • Must have excellent organisational skills and strong eye for detail
  • Must be a good team player
  • Must have OH&S awareness
  • Positive attitude toward improving work practices through continual improvement
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in the caravan industry is desirable but not essential
