Phoenix Civil & Earthmoving is a locally owned and operated civil construction company based in Albany, WA. We deliver a wide range of civil and earthmoving projects across the Great Southern region, including subdivisions, roadworks, infrastructure, drainage, and bulk earthworks.

Our team prides itself on quality, reliability, and professionalism — with a focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Assist with day-to-day project planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • Support the preparation of project documentation, including ITPs, QA forms, and as-built records
  • Undertake site inspections, measurements, and progress tracking
  • Assist with procurement, cost control, and subcontractor coordination

Technical & Site Support

  • Conduct basic surveying and set-out assistance as required
  • Monitor works to ensure compliance with design, safety, and environmental standards
  • Assist with preparation of reports, correspondence, and technical documentation

Safety & Quality

  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with company policies
  • Ensure works comply with quality standards and project specifications
  • Participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or similar discipline)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and work hands-on
  • Current valid driver's licence

Desirable:

  • Experience (even limited) in civil construction or earthworks
  • Knowledge of project management and quality assurance systems
  • Familiarity with design drawings and survey principles
