We're seeking kind, capable, and committed support workers to join a close-knit, family-led team supporting an individual with a rare genetic condition and complex needs. This is a truly special role for someone who wants more than just a job someone who wants to belong to a purposeful, collaborative team and help a person thrive.

About the Role:

You'll be part of a small team providing 1:1 care in a warm, nurturing home environment. The role involves:

  • Supporting communication using AAC (training provided)
  • Sensory regulation and engagement in meaningful activities
  • Personal care and mealtime support
  • Light domestic assistance related to the participant
  • Supporting family routines and outings
  • Following consistent routines and strategies developed with allied health professionals

  • Those looking for short-term or inconsistent casual work
  • Those who are inflexible with team-based communication or feedback
  • Anyone without appropriate clearances (see below)

You'll Need:

  • Experience supporting people with disabilities or complex needs (or willingness to learn)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (NSW)
  • First Aid + CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Driver's licence and reliable transport

Location: Port Macquarie

Hours: Mix of day, evening, and overnight shifts across a rotating roster

Pay: In line with the current NDIS price guide, (ABN)
