Be part of the team at Willing & Able Foundation, a registered NDIS provider, proudly supporting adults with disability for over 50 years.

We are currently recruiting for casual support workers who MUST have the availability to work weekends, some afternoon/evening shifts and sleepovers and be prepared to work flexibly across our services.

Willing & Able provides individual support services, group activities, employment supports and enables two participants to live independently in our community with 24/7 supports.

We are looking for friendly, professional, and positive individuals who are committed to providing safe, person-centred ,and quality support services to our people.

Selection Criteria - Essential:

1.    Current NDIS Workers Screening Check

2.    Cert III Individual Support or commitment to obtain

3.    Current First Aid Certificate or commitment to obtain

4.    Current NSW Driver's licence

5.    Available to work weekend, afternoon/evening, and sleepover shifts

6.    Able to work flexibly and positively across a variety of services

7.    Demonstrated person-centred approach to support services

8.    Proficient provider of personal care, mealtime support, mobility support, and behaviour support

9.    Knowledge of the challenges people living with a disability may encounter

  1. Demonstrated high level emotional intelligence, empathy, and communication skills

  2. Commitment to working compliantly with processes and policies

  3. Commitment to safeguarding yourself, participants, fellow workers, and others using risk management practices and effective incident response

  4. The ability to effectively and courteously handle complaints and follow set processes to resolve disputes and conflicts

Selection Criteria - Advantageous:

1.    LR or MR Driver's Licence (a bonus skill to have in our workplace)

2.    Comprehension of the NDIS Practice Standards.
