About the role

Join the dynamic team at Wombarra Civil Construction as an Excavator Operator. The roll is based in Katherine, on a 4:1 roster - Negotiable. In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in the successful delivery of civil construction projects. With a focus on quality workmanship and safety, you will operate excavation equipment to carry out essential site preparation and earthmoving tasks.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate excavators, move and load materials as required
  2. Perform regular maintenance checks
  3. Contribute to the efficient and safe completion of civil construction projects
  4. Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to deliver high-quality outcomes
  5. Comply with all relevant safety procedures and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry including final trim & GPS
  2. Strong safety focus and commitment to working within safety guidelines
  3. Willingness to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
  4. Current driver's licence
  5. White card
  6. Ability to obtain a police check
