Middlemount Coal Pty Ltd is an incorporated joint venture between Yancoal Australia and Peabody PCI Australia. The mine produces approximately 4 million tonnes per annum of medium-volatile PCI coal and semi-hard coking coal for the export market.

We are currently seeking an experienced CHPP Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the safe and efficient operation of the CHPP, ensuring compliance with statutory and site requirements while driving continuous improvement across our processing operations.


About the Role

You will be responsible for providing strong, visible leadership and supporting the CHPP team to deliver safe and reliable production outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

· Providing visible leadership, coaching and support within the CHPP.

· Planning and allocating shift activities to achieve operational targets, including health, safety, environmental and community outcomes.

· Supporting operations and maintenance teams to ensure effective resource management.

· Assisting in the development, review and implementation of standards, procedures and processes.

· Identifying improvement opportunities and supporting their implementation.

· Leading and managing personnel to maintain a high-performance culture.

· Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Implementing and maintaining systems that support performance delivery, KPIs and production targets.

· Working closely with mining, operations and coal laboratory teams to ensure optimal coal flow and plant performance.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· Demonstrated experience in a similar CHPP or mineral processing supervisory role.

· Exposure to mineral processing plants and/or wash plant operations.

· S1, S2, S3 and G2 qualifications.

· Proven supervisory experience with a strong commitment to safety.

· Certificate IV in Process Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
