About the Opportunity

This is a part-time position (25 hours/week) with flexible work arrangements to support your work-life balance. Reporting directly to the Company Director, you'll provide essential HR and IR support across our growing organisation. Your ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism, confidentiality and precision will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • As our new HR Officer, your day-to-day may include:
  • Delivering timely and accurate advice on HR, Fair Work and IR matters
  • Drafting employment contracts and managing onboarding documentation
  • Maintaining up-to-date employment records and HR systems
  • Leading the Employee Rewards & Recognition program
  • Managing offboarding processes and collating exit data
  • Reviewing and drafting HR and WHS policies to ensure compliance
  • Supporting probation and performance reviews
  • Creating and updating Position Descriptions
  • Coordinating inductions for new staff across locations
  • Facilitating EAP access and promoting staff wellbeing
  • Contributing to organisational projects and strategic initiatives

What You'll Bring

We're seeking someone with:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a generalist HR role
  • HR qualifications or tertiary studies (highly regarded)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and NDIS Orientation Module
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication
  • The ability to multitask and manage your own time effectively
  • A collaborative, professional attitude and genuine desire to help others
